AP SCHOLARS

Two former Venango Catholic High School students are AP Scholars for the 2009-10 school year.

Anthony Spadaro and Mercedes Hoeft have been recognized by the College Board as AP Scholars for passing three different Advanced Placement tests.

Spadaro is a double major in chemical engineering and biomedical engineering at Carnegie Melon University.

He is the son of Dr. Donna Puleio of Robinson, formerly of Franklin.

Hoeft is a double major in industrial engineering and English (writing) with a minor in economics at the University of Pittsburgh.

She is the daughter of Nancy Hoeft of Franklin.

Venango Catholic High School is registered with College Board to offer four Advanced Placement courses in biology, calculus AB, calculus BC and English literature.
