It's Back to the Books for Some

Most schools in Venango County don't begin the new year until next week, but classes started Thursday at Venango Catholic High School in Oil City following an orientation day Wednesday for freshmen.
Students filled the halls at Venango Catholic High School in Oil City Thursday afternoon during the first day of the new school year at VC. Freshmen arrived Wednesday for an orientation day. The remaining schools in Venango County will resume classes early next week. Photo by Jerry Sowden
