Pragle, Hesdon head KSAC teams

All-conference teams in the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference were released with a pair of pitchers taking MVP honors in softball and baseball.

Kim Pragle racked up 281 strikeouts and led Venango Catholic to the second round of the District 9 tournament, earning the award in softball while Eric Hesdon pitched well for Clarion-Limestone and had a good year at the plate, taking the award in baseball.

Clarion, the three-time defending conference champion, had three players named to the softball first team in Audrey Hummell, a freshman, Abby Heller and Kelsey Beichner. East Forest also put three girls on the first team in Jordan Tarr, Jess Tarr and Samantha Ellis.

Joining those six on the first team are Moniteau's Ashley Lominski, Karns City's Brooke Hiles, Clarion- Limestone's Olivia Pinson and Krysta Fuller, Cranberry's Lauren Hogue and Redbank Valley's Brittany Hildebrand.
