St. Joseph announces Service Award recipients
Eric McMahon and Alyssa Zlotnicki are the
2011 recipients of the St. Joseph
Service Award.
Eric, a sophomore at Venango Catholic High School, and Alyssa, a junior at Venango Catholic, are pictured here with Father Justin Pino, the pastor at both St. Joseph and Assumption BVM churches in Oil City and the archivist for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie.
Eric is the son of Tina McMahon and the late Mark McMahon, and Alyssa is the daughter of Dr. David and Theresa Zlotnicki. They are both altar servers at St. Joseph, and Alyssa is also a cantor and choir member at the parish.
"Eric and Alyssa and their families are very active both in the parish and at the school," Father Pino said. "They are people who go above and beyond to support their church and community."
